Exmoor zoo
The brief
As one of Devon’s leading tourist attractions, the Exmoor website needed to radiate a sense of fun and activity ideally suited to families. The client had seen and liked other sites that employed glossy gel buttons and graphics and dedicated areas were required for news, picture of the month, animal adoption and zoo keeper for a day.
The solution
To set the scene a repeat pattern jungle illustration was created for the page background, the illustration included the glowing eyes of the Exmoor Beast, one of the zoos proudest attractions. The jungle theme was extended across the site, adding a sense of fun, vibrant colour and natural habitat. Animal pattern textures were used for main headings and X marks the spot treasure map graphics were created for the find us links.
